STEPHANIE GRIFFEY, Esq.

Stephanie Griffey, Esq

Stephanie was born in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended Kuna High School, where she graduated Valedictorian.

 

Stephanie's education continued at the College of Idaho. There, she graduated Highest Honors with a degree in Business and the Arts. She achieved her Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law, studying general law and alternative dispute resolution and serving as Vice President to the College's Art & Entertainment Law Society.

Stephanie is an Idaho attorney who focuses on representing clients in family law matters, including joint and contested divorces. She enjoys helping children and has a keen eye for protecting children's interests through legal issues, whether they are directly or indirectly involved.

​

Although Stephanie’s courtroom experience affords clients strong representation through the entire legal process, Stephanie also practices in the amicable resolution of disputes and practices alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation.

​

Stephanie also focuses on equine law, an emerging field encompassing the contract, business and property laws that impact the horse industry. Stephanie grew up with horses and barrel races at the professional level. These experiences provide her comprehensive knowledge of horses and ignited her passion for educating the public about the laws impacting the equine industry.

 

Stephanie's leadership in equine law has led to features in national publications, such as Cowgirl Magazine and Cowboy Lifestyle Network Magazine, and speaking engagements at webinars, seminars, podcasts and events with entities such as the Idaho Horse Expo and the University of Idaho College of Law.

Stephanie is a successful western lifestyle influencer (on Instagram as @courtroomcowgirl), where she was awarded The Boutique Hub’s “Western Lifestyle Influencer Doing it Big in 2020” and Western Woman Magazine's "Woman of the Month" because of her unique combination of career and lifestyle and her powerful influence on the legal profession and the horse industry.

Stephanie and her husband, Justin, and their two children, Jace and Jentry, live on a ranch outside Pocatello. They share their home and land with horses, dogs, cows, bunnies, goats, a mini named "Super Duper," an awesome roping arena and a great view of the Pocatello mountains.
